The group is getting larger and more people are signing up to go on overnight hikes. Last trip we had over 11 overnight, this trip we have over 15 signed-up, with 5 more wanting to attend. My concern is how the group feels about supporting large groups for overnight trips (logistics, safety, varying skill level's, etc.).

I'm interested in getting your ideas for planning our Meetup's. Let me know what you think. If you don't like the idea at all, nuke it with a '-'

Suppose we were going to have an expert come to our meetup and talk about gear - what type of gear are you interested in or do you need?

This poll will give us an idea how to plan our trips so we don't bore the hell out of anyone. The idea is we will plan our trips so all levels are addressed. This means that there will be some 'hard core' trips as well as some 'entry level'. I'm suggesting all hikes will be with Packs to get/keep us in hiking condition. Plus we can check out all the cool gear everyone has.
