Introduction

Just moved to Indy from Cincy, where I was a part of a hiking club. Looking forward to meeting new friends!

Why did you become a member of the Indianapolis Backpackers group?

I enjoy hiking and grew up going to Colorado each summer to hike and camp in the mountains

What was your most memorable backpacking trip?

The most memorable would have been about 8 years ago when a group of us had a 4 day/3 night trip planned. It was going to be about a 25 mile hike but on the first day we ended up hiking 11 miles, which was way more than planned. 2 of the group members were sick and we were all sore and tired from the long hike, so he hitch hiked out of the mountains and went back to the town and went to the bar for the rest of our trip.

Are you a novice or a seasoned backpacker?

I wouldn't quite say seasoned, but I am experienced.
