Hello Tom I am hosting the event with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. Last May I went and attended their Master Educator Course. I am hoping to start having more events and Leave No Trace Trainer Courses. I have invited several people the HHC, Scouts, a couple local high schools that require service time. I am a Scouter also. I am hoping for a good turn out from my scouting friends.

I am working on getting lunch donated and door prizes.

I know HHC works on the third Saturday of every month and they are planning to also work for at Brookville in the month of March. I'm not sure how many will be there from HHC.

To update the Community Day is still a go. The Leave No Trace Center contacted the Keen Footwear Sales Rep and he is going to come. When I talked to him he said he would have some drawings.

I have also changed the Shelter because I don't think the Wall Shelter will have enough parking. We are going to meet at the Bryants Creek Shelter.

    How to see you there.

    Hey, K --
I'll be bringing some trail tools along with me, BTW, just in case. (Heh! The HHC used to have a motto, "There's no such thing as a trail that couldn't stand a little improving." Just remembered that.)
See you in the mornin'. T

A great day for Leave No Trace, Morgan-Monroe State Forest, Scouting, And Hikers and Backpackers here in Central Indiana. If you would be interested in helping plan for the next Community Day please let me know. If you have any pictures from the if you could please email them to me. I would like to try and get some grant money for the event next year this would help in sending the requests for the grant money. [masked] Thanks Again to everyone that come out and made the day a success. Kevin Ayers www.kevinlikestohike.com

It's so great to have the opportunity to pay a little back, via trail service, to the resource we so often say we "love".
